A Gross Carriage of Justice
Another installment into the Murder League, this time ex-detectives Carruthers, Simpson, and Briggs fall prey to inept kidnappers Clarence Alexander and Harold Nishbagel. Of course, the situation is quickly overturned and the captives bring the kidnappers to their knees. It's time for a new brand of justice as these three older Britons take the law into their own hands. Robert L. Fish, the youngest of three children, was born on August 21, 1912 in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended the local schools in Cleveland and went to Case University (now Case-Western Reserve) where he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He married Mamie Kates, also from Cleveland, and they had two daughters. Mr. Fish worked as a civil engineer, traveling and moving throughout the United States.
